| As a perfectionist, Ms. Horta asks a lot of questions. She is a strong, independent worker who likes to learn new things and gather information to use in her daily work. Jessica is very organized and uses that talent to make other’s jobs easier to do.
One of the things Jessica enjoys about her work is conducting focus groups. and gaining a deeper understanding of the issues being examined. In her position, she learns new things every day, particularly around public policy and issues that states and communities care deeply about. Jessica is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion and enjoys working on MDR projects where these are key components of the research. What makes Jessica happy? Animals, rescuing animals, and hanging out with her two cats and two chinchillas. One of the things she loves about Maine is that she can go to the beach any time she wants. |
