As part of a newly awarded two-year contract, we will survey customers of the North Dakota Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
The North Dakota Department of Human Services, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) provides employment-related services for people with disabilities. The DVR is federally mandated to conduct and review an analysis of their clients’ satisfaction with the services they provide.
Our survey will measure the satisfaction with services being offered and provide information for continuous improvement. In consultation with DVR staff, we will plan, develop, implement, analyze, and document the findings of the surveys. There are eight regional offices in North Dakota and the data will provide information for each of these, as well as the state of ND as a whole.
This is a multi-step evaluation. Specifically, we will consult with the DVR to:
- Develop and conduct surveys that identify satisfaction with current services making sure to identify the range of services that would be applicable for the respondents and develop a series of questions designed to elicit suggestions for improvement of services
- Determine the appropriate sample sizes for the satisfaction survey across the whole state and among eight specific regions
- Identify a multi-mode data collection process to achieve a valid response rate
- Provide North Dakota with a comprehensive summary of survey results, at region and state levels, including suggestions for improvement
With this assignment, we will have conducted research for Vocational Rehabilitation agencies in nine states: Florida, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Georgia, and Massachusetts.
