We are pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Brian Robertson to Vice President, Research.

Dr. Robertson has served as Director of Research here at MDR since 2000.  Over the past sixteen years, he has led our company from one that primarily conducted research for Maine-based organizations, to one that now has a national reach; as we have completed assignments for clients in twenty-five states.  His leadership has grown MDR’s scope of work from smaller surveys of a few hundred completions to assignments comprised of tens of thousands of surveys. In his new role, he will provide overall technical leadership for company projects including research and survey design, sampling methodologies, analysis, and managing the company’s most technically complex assignments.

Dr. Robertson earned a Ph.D. and Bachelor of Science degree in anthropology from the University of Utah.  He has over twenty-five years of health care research and evaluation experience having worked in both an academic setting (University of Utah Survey Research Center) and the private sector. He is an active member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research and a former President of the New England Chapter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research.
