As a Research Assistant at MDR, Cooper assists with all stages of research, from the initial survey design and programming to the final proofing and reporting. He has an eye for detail and is interested in telling stories through data. He enjoys problem solving, and has a background in statistical analysis and visualization. His prior experience includes research on the 2020 presidential election, and how the COVID-19 pandemic affected worker rights.

What does Cooper do when he’s not working? Cooper loves being in nature, from mountain biking and hiking in the summer to cross country skiing during the winter. When he isn’t on the trails, Cooper enjoys woodworking, bowling, and hanging out with his cat Edgar.
