Community & Transportation Planning

Community Planning and Smart Growth

Our work with communities is typically focused in one of three areas.

  1. Working with communities to identify or fine-tune priorities for government services or action.
  2. Measuring the quality of key service interactions then establishing benchmarks and tracking service quality.
  3. Working with communities on policies regarding growth and sprawl.

Through the use of surveys and secondary data, we can quantify the size of markets for types of housing developments and describe who it is that would be interested in particular types of neighborhoods.

Transportation Planning

A lack of, or simply not enough, public transportation is a problem for both those in rural and urban geographic areas. Our formidable research can improve coordination of transportation planning and promote innovative transportation programs.
