Participate in Research

Focus groups are the most common way individuals can participate in research. They are easy, interesting and lucrative!

What is a focus group?

Focus groups are discussions, usually 1 1/2 to 2 hours long, led by a professional facilitator among a group of 8 – 12 individuals. Focus groups help our clients better understand experiences with a particular service, product or social issue. Most in-person focus groups are conducted here in Maine although we frequently conduct online groups as well.

What will I be paid?

After completing the focus group you will be provided an incentive in the form of cash, gift card, or other form of payment. You will be informed about the incentive prior to agreeing to be a participant. Incentive amount can vary, they range anywhere from $60 to $150 depending on the topic.
