Research Tip

Seek a telephone survey vendor that will allow you to listen in to interviews. Some companies can even record interviews so you can listen to them at your convenience.

Our clients in this industry are very interested in understanding attitudes and perceptions of key constituencies. We are frequently conducting satisfaction surveys of customers, sales agents or providers to establish internal quality targets or to lead reengineering projects.

Our proprietary research method, called tradeoff analysis, is often used to understand cost-value trade offs for insurance benefits. This approach also allows clients to test plan benefits against cost changes.

We also have extensive expertise in advertising testing and tracking. Market Decisions has been involved in communications campaigns that have become case studies for effectiveness. Focus groups or in-depth qualitative interviews are used to test initial ideas and then we conduct pre and post advertising tests. In Maine we use our quarterly shared subscriber survey, The Maine Survey, as an economical means to pre and post test advertising awareness. Elsewhere, we rely on our own proprietary designed telephone survey.
